I received my MD from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine and completed a residency in anatomic and clinical pathology, as well as a surgical pathology
fellowship, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. I went on to complete a two-year fellowship in gynecologic pathology at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore,
Maryland. I am board certified by the American Board of Pathology and am a fellow of the College of American Pathologists and the American Society of Clinical Pathology.
