I am a professor of pathology and dermatology and director of dermatopathology at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, where I also am medical director of the dermatopathology laboratory. I completed my anatomic and clinical pathology residency at Ohio State and served as a chief resident in 2004-06, after which I completed fellowship training in surgical pathology and dermatopathology at the Mayo Clinic and MD Anderson Cancer Center, respectively. I am board certified by the American Board of Pathology and Dermatology in anatomic pathology, clinical pathology and dermatopathology. Before coming to Ohio State, I served as director of dermatopathology at the Medical College of Wisconsin from 2008-15. I have published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and have written several book chapters on pathology, dermatopathology and dermatology, and I have written four textbooks on dermatopathology. My areas of expertise include pigmented skin lesions, adnexal skin neoplasms and immunohistochemistry in cutaneous tumors.
